Product Description
TV’s POPULAR GHOST HUNTERS REVEAL ALL-NEW, NEVER-BEFORE-TOLD STORIES FROM THEIR SPOOKY EARLY INVESTIGATIONS!
For the first time ever, Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson, founders of The Atlantic Paranormal Society (T.A.P.S.), share their most memorable and spine-tingling early cases — none of which has ever appeared on television. Beginning with the previously untold experiences that sparked their passion for ghost hunting, Jason and Grant’s bone-chilling investigations uncover:
• A Connecticut woman who seems to exist in two places at once
• A little girl whose invisible playmate retaliates
against her father’s punishments
• A man overcome by an evil entity as Jason and Grant survey his home
• A distraught woman who dreams of paranormal events
before she experiences them…and much more!
Jason and Grant didn’t always have the fancy scientific equipment and experienced team that fans now watch on their smash-hit television show. As they share their hair-raising first experiences, they offer essential tips for budding paranormal investigators — including how to use an electromagnetic field (EMF) meter and an infrared camera, determine if a supernatural phenomenon is good or evil, and deal with spirits. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, these fascinating and frightening true stories will keep you up at night!

I love Ghost Hunters and thought I’d try a book of theirs. I was not disappointed! I will be buying more. Right on.
I was planning to read the book at night (to go to sleep on), but some of the stories were pretty tense. After a couple of nights of keeping the lights on, I thought it best to read it in the daytime. Good job!
I love true ghost stories.

I love Ghost Hunters, but I wasn’t really sure how I would feel about this book. I thought it might not translate well, as how can a description of a paranormal event really be anything like watching it happen? I actually loved the book, and thought it was really well written. I was very impressed, and am sure that I will read it again in the near future. Very fun, and very informative. I highly recommend this book.

First off, I have to just say something about another review on here. Someone said that there are pictures… Other than the cover… where? I believe you are refering to the wrong book… unless I missed something… This same person also said they wouldn’t even call the entries “stories” because it’s really more like a short “summary” of what happened. I, personally, would call them stories. They are long enough and detailed enough for the reader to understand. What else is there to tell the reader? They purposely excluded irrelevant details to shorten the story from a (however many hour) night into a few paragraphs to tell their story. Would you like them to tell when they took bathroom breaks and what they had for lunch that day? Come on now…
Anyway, as I said, this book is AMAZING compared to the first. The first, in all honesty, I wasn’t a fan of after a few chapters in because it went into investigations that were already on TV. This book has PLENTY of stories of investigations before Ghost Hunters was created on TV. It is detailed enough where (though it sounds weird) I can imagine their surroundings and even down to their expressions (I guess that’s just because I watch the show enough to understand their reactions, haha). One thing that’s going to eat at me though is some of the evidence they say they caught on tape. I really think they should share that at some point on their TV show (maybe do a special on evidence they caught before TAPS became a household name). Anyway, ALL stories are interesting for fellow skeptics to read. Even believers. Though I think people that already fully believe are more likely to be the disappointed readers because they don’t always get the stories they want to hear. If something doesn’t happen and/or claims are debunked, that’s it. There’s REALITY to this book which many other books as well as tv shows that deal with this topic lack. TAPS is the first team that has approached it from the way I would and supplies SUBSTANCIAL evidence that will leave me scratching my head… I like that.
Keep up the good work TAPS! And thanks for putting together this book J&G

Like the first book, this one is in case format, with afterwords on some technical jargon or aspect of the case. The writing is concise and easily connects with the reader.
Whether an avid fan and believer, or a hard-core skeptic, the book is entertaining, engaging, and informative. A fun read, it goes fast and leaves the reader looking for more.

I’m a big fan of the show “Ghost Hunters” and have seen every episode so far. I bought Jason and Grant’s first book called “Ghost Hunting” and really enjoyed it. When I heard that they had a new book out, I just had to buy a copy. I wasn’t disappointed! I read it in 1 night and it held my interest the whole time. It’s easy to read and flows well. They don’t use technical terms that us laymen wouldn’t understand! This book has stories from actual TAPS cases that were never aired on their television show and also has helpful hints for those who might like to try ghost hunting. I would highly recommend both books to anyone who enjoys watching “Ghost Hunters” and to anyone who’s interested in the paranormal.
